CAR-IX Member Requirements

The following requirements apply for becoming a CAR-IX member:

1. You must be a recognised legal entity.
2. You must have an ASN (Autonomous System Number)
   The Applicant must have their own ASN assigned by a Regional Internet Registry, being either; LACNIC, ARIN, RIPE-NCC, APNIC or by a Local Internet Registry.
3. The primary function of your business (unit) must be internet related.
4. You must have the intention to and be willing to sign the CAR-IX Connection Agreement.
   The CAR-IX Connection Agreement is standard for all CAR-IX members.
